Gone are the days of worrying if your headset will cut out. Made specifically for Xbox One and PS4, the latest addition to Plantronics’ RIG 800 series are the first wireless gaming headsets with up to 24-hour battery life.
The enhanced battery also includes a quick-charging feature that provides 1.5 hours of gaming per 30-minute charge.

The RIG 800 series is one of the lightest wireless headsets on the market, engineered for fit and long-term comfort. Memory-foam ear cushions make wearing the headset more comfortable and increase sound isolation for an immersive experience. The RIG 800 shares the same configurable design as the RIG 500, which was uniquely constructed with an industry-first modular design.
In terms of performance, you’ve got amplified 40mm drivers and low frequency resonators to reinforce bass and limit distortion. The mic monitor that lets you hear your outgoing chat level and quality, while the noise-cancelling mic flips up to mute.
Dual control dials on the left earcup are designed to help you quickly adjust the balance between game and chat audio, as well as master volume. You can choose an EQ setting to isolate pure highs, intensify the mid-range, enjoy seismic bass, or enhance vocal focus.
The RIG 800 will be available online and major retailers in September 2016 for $279.99.
