X-Men: Apocalypse
Bryan Singer confirms that Wolverine’s cameo in the film is as his ‘Weapon X’ form, the wild berserker incarnation of the character first created by the Weapon X project:
What’s really nice about his cameo is that he’s the Wolverine you’ve never seen before. He’s truly Weapon X. Not just the guy coming out of the tank, but the weapon.

Black Panther
Kevin Feige recently tells the Empire Film Podcast that the vast majority of the film’s cast will be either African or African-American.
That will be among the best ensembles we’ve ever had — and 90 per cent of the cast is either African or African-American.

Predator
Shane Black tells Coming Soon about upgrading the iconic Predator suit:
It’s not to ‘improve,’ it’s make it fun, make it different, make it organically different…So what’s the extension of it that makes sense, that’s exciting? There have been a lot of changes to Stan’s design over the years. These different Predator movies have done different things. Ultimately it’s not about design to me, it’s about the story you want to tell. There are people who are always going to agonize over Iron Man, what colour his suit is. Maybe this weapon does a new thing, but if the story is not good I don’t give a sh*t what colour the suit is. In ‘The Predator’ we’re doing a lot of upgrades to what you would consider to be the traditional Predator technology and look, but hopefully the story is what’s going to drag people in, not just the attention to the minutiae.

Simon Kinberg offers an update on the film’s progress:
We’ve gotta get the script right. We just didn’t get the script to the place that we all felt like that movie deserved, so we’re still working on the script — we’re very close, actually, to being done with the script.
Fantastic Four 2
Meanwhile, Kinberg also threatens the world with the prospect of another Fantastic Four film:
We want to make another ‘Fantastic Four’ movie. We love that cast — I mean if I were to say to you now Michael B Jordan and Miles Teller, and Kate [Mara] and Jamie [Bell] are great actors — we love that cast. I love the comic, I mean I love it almost as much as X-Men. We’re working really hard on figuring that out. Nothing would make me happier than the world embracing a ‘Fantastic Four’ movie. We’ll try to be truer to the essence of the tone of Fantastic Four, which is completely — well, not completely, but largely — distinct from the X-Men, which is brighter, funner, more optimistic tone. I think we tried to make a darker ‘Fantastic Four’ movie, which seemed like a radical idea but we were kind of messing with the DNA of the actual comic instead of trusting the DNA of the comic.
