This new print by UK design outfit Dorothy looks like your average Macintosh cross-section schematic. But instead of web of wires and chips, there’s an entire miniature world dedicated to the history and legacy of Apple and the Mac.
The image abounds with fun jokes. There’s a big Steve Jobs statue on the top floor titled “El Capitan”, a room with big cat taxidermy (which is a reference to earlier OS X software releases) and other tiny nods to Apple’s history. In total, there are 29 different references and more intentionally kept hidden. It’s like a Where’s Wally for Apple fanboys.
Dorothy is selling the print for £30, which is about $58. A fitting tribute to a computing classic.
