JB Hi-Fi Will Now Sell Oppo Phones

After its deal with Dick Smith disappeared amid the retailer’s continuing downward spiral, Oppo has found a new home at JB Hi-Fi. Australia’s largest home entertainment store chain will sell Oppo’s mid-range and high-end smartphones from May, including the new R9 and F1.

Oppo’s phones sell themselves as having many of the key features of flagships from Apple, Samsung and other Android competitors, at a significantly lower price. The company’s VOOC fast charging is one of the fastest battery charging systems on the market, too.

The entire Oppo range — from the $299 F1 to the new $599 R9, and including the slightly older R7s and R7 — will be stocked at JB stores around Australia from May 9th. [JB Hi-Fi / Oppo]
