Video: For all that individual stills of the titular children have been creepy, this first trailer for Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children has a sense of wonder that is charming as all get out. The pairing of this story and Tim Burton's visuals is fabulous. Eva Green plays the titular Miss Peregrine, who seems to be an out-of-time, less save-the-world-y version of Professor X in that she takes in and raises children with peculiar gifts. Of course there's danger afoot and Miss Peregrine charges newcomer Jacob (Asa Butterfield) with protecting them.
In case you were wondering, that is Samuel L. Jackson looming out of the darkness. Everything about this movie looks so good.
