A Supervillain Finds True Love In Miike Snow’s Genghis Khan

A Supervillain Finds True Love In Miike Snow’s Genghis Khan

I’ve literally had this track bouncing around in my head all week: it’s a catchy song, one that features a music video that’s probably the most fabulous James Bond-esque climax that has ever existed.

Miike Snow is an indie band from Sweden who has recently released a new album, iii after a three year hiatus.

The music video for this latest single is just fantastic: a James Bond-like villain can’t bring himself to kill his rival, and realises that there’s something missing in his life.

It reminds me more than a little of Austin Grossman’s fantastic novel, Soon I Will Be Invincible, and more than ever, it makes me really want there to be a James Bond musical. That would be fantastic.
