Samsung’s biggest announcement of the year — widely expected to be the Galaxy S7, but also potentially something even more surprising — kicks off in Barcelona soon. If you want to see what the world’s largest tech company has to offer, here’s where you can find a comfy seat and settle in. You can even watch this this year’s Galaxy Unpacked event in 360-degree virtual reality.
The Samsung press conference kicks off at 5AM AEDT — when this post is one hour old, it will begin. When Samsung’s live-stream on YouTube goes live, you can tune in using the video above, or go directly here.
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2016 is just around the corner, and for the first time the event will be presented in 360 live streaming. Even if you cannot make it to Barcelona for the big event, you can still enjoy the excitement of being the first to see Samsung’s newest Galaxy devices—but this time with the added benefit of seeing them unveiled through this groundbreaking and immersive platform.
In addition, during Galaxy Unpacked you will get four options for where to watch—from the auditorium, stage left, stage right or from center stage. Pick whichever spot is right for you, then use the 360 live streaming to get a complete view of the event from every angle.
For anyone watching on mobile, though, download the Unpacked 360 View app on the Google Play and iOS App Stores — it’s the easiest way to tune in. If you’re lucky enough to have a Gear VR, there’s a Unpacked 360 View app in the Oculus Store that will let you watch the event from your virtual reality headset.
