True Hero Builds A Stereo That Automatically Blasts Music Back At His Loud Neighbours

Video: You unfortunately don’t get to choose your neighbours, but you do get to choose how you deal with them. A YouTuber named Jamil went with a more passive-aggressive approach for dealing with his loud neighbours.

Jamil built an Arduino-controlled stereo that automatically blasts annoying music right back at them. Watch it shred above.

Heroes come in many shapes and sizes. But in this case it’s an unassuming guy with the know-how to wire a CD player, a set of massive speakers, and a microphone to an Arduino board that’s programmed to only start blasting music when the sounds from coming through the wall reach a certain sustained level.

To passively let his neighbours know that they should maybe turn their music down a bit, Matthew has chosen the classic Baha Men song, Who Let the Dogs Out? But were you to try this hack yourself, you’d of course be able to choose any overplayed annoying song you’d like for this modern take on Dueling Banjos.
