The 'TMNT: Out Of The Shadows' Teaser Is Seven Seconds Long And This Nonsense Has To End

Okay, this is getting silly. The latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows teaser is so short that if you blink (for seven seconds) you'll miss it.

Just maybe watch it on repeat a few times to feel like it was worth it? Or I suppose you can wait for the Superbowl when the full teaser will be released. Yep, this is a teaser for a teaser.

I mean it's not I really want to see more of Michael Bay destroying my childhood (I think he should be locked in the George Lucas Centre for People Who Shouldn't Be Allowed to Touch Things) so maybe it's just the whole "teaser for a teaser" thing that gets to me.

Okay so I'm probably getting older just saying this, but back in my day, a teaser was something at least a little substantial. Now we have 10 second 10 Cloverfield Lane teasers and this.

I don't want this to be a new trend but I'm afraid it already is. Am I caring too much? Do I just need a cup of tea and a good lie down? Should these darn kids get off my lawn?

Tell me your thoughts.

    I didn't blink, I nodded off.

But yeah that's pretty weird. It's definitely supposed to be a posted as a gif or vine.

I know I'm going to hate how Michael Bay this movie is and regret seeing it, but it has just the right amount of nostalgia for me to want it desperately.

its got beebop and Rocksteady and look exactly the same as they did in the 1987 series so that is a big plus. I wonder though if we will see Krang and Stockman as Fly

apparently no we wont see baxter as a fly, but kraang will be in it...

I did the research coz im just that type of person and love me some tmnt

tbh, they don't really bother me - the point of them is to build anticipation, right? So it's done exactly that. The fact that you're writing this story and have posted their video shows that their technique has worked.

I think that's what kills me inside the most.

somewhere in the deep dark corridors of their marketing department, and old white man is reading your post and cackling to himself :(

I actually prefer shorter teasers than the most common ones we get now that either tell the entire story or show all the funny parts. For example, I feel like Ive already seen Batman vs Superman, it gives away too much.

This squeal is more TNMT than the first remake/re imagining movie. Can we ignore that first one? There was a first one? See that was easy.

It's funny how everyone still thinks of these movies as Michael Bay films. Gotta feel a bit for.... *checks actual directors' names* Jonathan Liebesman and Dave Green. They're the ones doing all the... errr... "work".

In any case, I can happily say that I have not seen either TMNT 2014 nor Transformers 4. After the 3 previous movies, only the first of which was half-way decent, I'm done with Bay and anything to which he puts his name.

The last movie was not terrible. This one looks to be about the same. But I'll wait till it hits blu-ray before I see it.

Hope the movie is good, I've been wanting to see Krang, Beebop and Rocksteady in a live action movie since forever. Can't get my hopes up because I've been really disappointed with TMNT movies in the past and I have mixed feelings about these CG heavy versions.

I liked the old ones, cheesy as heck but still like them.

I actually counted about 3 seconds of film in this.

I'd prefer a 7 second teaser to the 3 minutes of spoilers that most trailers are these days.

Unfortunately we usually get both. Worst of both worlds.

7 seconds is a lot in a Michael Bay movie... 7 seconds could be the only bit called a plot, the only point that isnt sexist or racist, only time there is no product placement, the only part that isnt exploding. The only part test audiences didnt hate or critic.

There is already a full length trailer
But to be honest, I prefer shorter trailers, they let too much information & show the really good parts. It ruins the movie sometimes
