Triple J Is Coming To Apple’s Beats 1 Radio Station

Australians who listen to Beats 1 on Apple Music are in for a fun little surprise: from this Saturday, Australia’s Triple J will take over the global station to spotlight new Aussie music.

Beats 1 announced the new Aussie programming on Twitter early this morning.

Triple J’s Beats 1 takeover will kick off from 5am AEDT on Sunday.

The move comes as part of Australian Music Month, and will see Triple J’s Dom Alessio team up with Zan Rowe to play Aussie music all over the world.

We’re reaching out to both Apple and Triple J to see what sort of programming we can expect, and whether you’ll be able to catch up with it on Australian terrestrial airwaves.
