Giant Zombie Hand To Emerge From Under Sydney Opera House This Weekend

To celebrate the premiere of Season 6 of the Walking Dead, and as part of the 2015 Graphic Festival, the Aussie icon is getting zombieified. For fans of the series, it’s a not to be missed photo op with a hoard of gruesome Walkers roaming the area.

The stunt is thanks to FX and Foxtel, and will accompany a special advanced screen of the new season. If you want to come watch – too late, as it sold out in 24 hours. The series will screen for us regular folks on Foxtel from Monday the 12th of October.

But there is still plenty of fun for Walking Dead fans, with Messina operating a pop up Gelato store that will be handing out complimentary (but limited) cups of ‘Carls Pudding’.

The hand will be unveiled outside the Opera House at 10am on Saturday, October the 10th, while the screening is being held on Sunday the 11th. Gelato is available from 12 to 4pm on both days, but get in quick if you want a taste.
