LG G Watch Urbane Gets Australian Price And Release Date

The vast majority of smartwatches are unstylish. This much we know. LG is doing everything it can to bring the age of the unfashionable wrist-computer to an end with the G Watch Urbane: a sexy smartwatch which is finally coming to Australia.

First announced at Mobile World Congress in February, the G Watch Urbane features a 1.3-inch P-OLED 320×320 screen, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a 410mAh battery and comes with either a gold or silver bezel/case.

It’s also dust and water resistant with an IP67 rating to keep it safe on your wrist from the harsh reality of the real world.

The G Watch Urbane may be stylish and flashy, but it’s also pretty bulky. There are people who love their chunky watches, so we’ll have to see just how it stacks up next to other big watches when we review it soon.

You’ll be paying $449 for the G Watch Urbane from Telstra, JB Hi-Fi or Harvey Norman from 1 September.
