He’s playing an emotionless, stone faced assassin. It’s a role that’s perfect for Keanu and it shows, his performance is exceptional.
2. Alfie Allen’s Russian Accent
You may know Alfie better as Theon Greyjoy from Game of Thrones (or as Lily Allen’s little brother). Turns out he’s equally unlikeable as a Russian gangster’s son.
It’s essentially martial arts with firearms rather than traditional weapons. John Wick is 101 minutes of gun fu magnificence.
4. The Stunts Are All Keanu
Keanu reportedly did 90% of his own stunts. Once you’ve seen the sheer number of stunts and how intense they are, you’ll realise why that’s impressive
5. The Matrix Alumni
Keanu is the obvious link, but directors David Leitch and Chad Stahleski were both stunt coordinators and both acted with Keanu in The Matrix trilogy.
6. Payday 2
2 days before it’s cinema release John Wick popped up as a playable character in Payday 2.

85% on Rotten Tomatoes with quotes like: “For a movie in which a dozen people are violently shot in the head John Wick is an awful lot of fun”.
