Office 2016 For Mac Now Works Just As Well As It Does On Windows

Microsoft Office 2016 for Mac is now available for people in 139 countries, as long as you have an Office 365 subscription or you’re a student. Standalone versions will go up for sale in September.

Office for Mac 2011 was the last update, so this is a long time coming. This upgrade includes integration with Mac features like full screen view, and Office 2016 is designed for Retina displays. Office for Mac now seems completely up-to-date compared to its Windows counterpart.

Our friends at Lifehacker saw the preview build when it was released in March, but now Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote are all updated and ready to go, as long as you’re ready to shell out the $100+ a year it takes to be an Office 365 subscriber.
