This Official Raspberry Pi Case Houses Your Mini PC For Less Than $20

If you love your little Raspberry Pi computer dearly, you can now provide it with a little more protection using this official case for the device. And the good news is that it only costs $US8.

While many people have already crafted their own cases for the devices — in particular using Lego — this one has been designed by the folks at Raspberry Pi Foundation especially. In fact, you can read all about the design process in this blog post. But the important bits: it’s made from ABS plastic, its side and top panels are quickly removed to provide access to the device’s guts, and it’s specially designed to allow the blinking LEDs to shine through light pipes so you know it’s all still working.

It’s available in the fetching white-raspberry colour scheme, and costs the princely sum of $US8.59. You can pick one up from MCM Electronics, Newark and Allied (or Swag Store, element14, or RS Electronics if you’re in the UK). [Raspberry Pi]
