Apple Has Dropped Plans For Its Own 4K TV: Report

Remember that Apple TV panel that was set to change the way we all watch the boob tube? Cupertino has reportedly abandoned the project, according to a new report.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Apple shelved plans for a 4K/UHD TV set over a year ago.

The panel would have reportedly included high-definition cameras for video calling, but the team behind the project wasn’t able to find a killer feature for the panel, leading to the project being shelved.

Despite Apple’s TV set project being dead, the company is still reportedly on track to deliver a new Apple TV streaming box soon featuring more apps and a hot new remote!
