Microsoft Is Opening A Retail Store In Sydney

Australia is finally getting a Microsoft Store, and it’s going to be in Sydney.

Microsoft will open its first local store in Sydney’s Pitt St Mall: one of the most expensive retail alleys in the world.

The store will sit near the newly-opened Sephora retail outlet in Pitt St Mall, and be within shouting distance of the George St flagship Apple Store and the Samsung Experience Store on the same block. It’s a tech alley!

The new Microsoft Store will be a two-floor affair with 6000 square feet of space, and will open before Christmas 2015.

Australia will be the first country outside of North America to get a Microsoft store. There are already over 100 stores in the continental United States, with an additional 10 in Canada.
