Swatch’s Cheapest Self-Winding Watch Has A Bunch Of Great New Looks

Good things — or sometimes better things — come to those who wait. And if the designs of the first round of Swatch’s innovative Sistem51 didn’t ring your bell, the Swiss watchmaker has just announced five new designs that will be arriving soon, including versions with more classic and cleaner watch faces.

The five new Sistem51 models — which feature the same all-mechanical guts and genuine Swiss movement of the originals — will be available come February 23, and will be priced exactly the same at $US150. For amateur watch enthusiasts interested in wearing a timepiece with an actual Swiss movement, it doesn’t any cheaper than Swatch’s Sistem51 line. And for those who still love Swatch’s loud ’80s-inspired designs, there’s a few new wild options here too. [Swatch]
