Et voila. That’s it. That’s all you get.
I get the point of the poster — he’s an ant, he’s small, very inventive, ha ha — but Ant-Man has had a long, long journey on its way to cinema screens around the world. An Ant-Man movie has been in the works for around about a decade now. Can’t we get a little more substance?
We know a few things about Ant-Man. Paul Rudd is playing the titular thief-turned-superhero, Michael Douglas is scientist Hank Pym and Evangeline Lilly is Pym’s estranged daughter Hope Van Dyne. It’s very much a Marvel universe movie, and follows the comics’ storyline — the same guy who played inventor Howard Stark in Iron Man 2 is in the new movie, for example.
In any case, that’s the first Ant-Man poster for the upcoming film, which will be released around the world on July 17. Maybe we’ll get, like, a trailer before then. Or something. [Twitter]
