When we reviewed it in July, we called the A7s ”the king of full-frame video”. $2799 gets you an amazingly well built body with a quickly expanding native lens line-up (and compatibility with a huge range of older lenses both Sony and other-branded via adaptors), a simple but powerful control layout, and incredible ISO sensitivity. It’s a worthy winner of our best camera of 2014 award.
