Looking at this Airbus A300 fuselage cross-section at the Deutsches Museum in Munich, Germany, makes me realise once again how lucky we are to partake in the miracle of flying. Look at that, just some metal sheets, seats on top, luggage containers in the bottom. How the hell could that fly.

P.S. I’m at my parents’ home for Christmas and I just realised that, not so long ago, I was using a computer with only 64KB of memory that used a tape recorder to load and save programs in this very same room. We live in an amazing world indeed.
