Given the immense popularity of the Super Mario games and their countless spinoffs, you’d have thought that Nintendo would have been eager to get action figures of the characters into kids’ hands from day one. But it’s only recently that we’re finally seeing detailed and suitably articulated Mario figures that do justice to our favourite mustached plumber.
Available now from ThinkGeek for $US25 because it’s being imported from Japan, this four-inch figure features an impressive 14 points of articulation given its size. And since many of those points are ball joints, you can pose and move Mario just like he does in the games. The figure also comes with a question mark block, a single gold coin, and a mushroom that unfortunately will not increase the actual dimensions of the figure no matter how hard you try. [ThinkGeek]
