Windows 10 is here! The new, unified operating system for PCs, phones, and tablets alike (with beloved Start Menu intact) is out in preview form. If you’re feeling first-adopterish, go download it now.
We got to play around a bit with Windows 10 yesterday, and we came away pretty impressed. It packs enough changes that Microsoft decided to skip straight over the number nine when naming the new OS. Given how much people hated Windows 8, it’s no surprise Microsoft wanted to get as far away from it as possible.
The fully functional Windows 10 won’t hit the streets until 2015, but if you’re dying for a taste, and you have a compatible device, head on over to Microsoft to get the technical preview right now.
