This Spinning Chocolate Cake Filmed In Australia Hides The Most Awesomest Visual Trick

I’ll admit it, I was a doubter. When I saw this chocolate cake, I couldn’t imagine it ever blowing my mind. Even when it started spinning, I didn’t see what the hoopla was all about. And then the lights started flickering and all the chocolate pieces started dancing and moving in a complicated orchestra.

The fun starts at the 20-second mark in the video (it was filmed at Phillip Island Chocolate Factory near Melbourne, Australia). The old-school zoetrope animation technique still blows the mind of people today.
