Whoa. Just…whoa. The line for the iPhone 6 in Sydney stretched one block long and two blocks wide this morning, slowing foot traffic on the city’s busiest street to a nightclub-style dodge-and-crawl-affair. It’s the biggest line we’ve ever seen.
The line was so large, we couldn’t fit it into a 15-second Instagram Hyperlapse video.
It’s also worth noting that Angela Ahrendts, former CEO of Burberry now head of Apple’s Online and Retail Stores, also flew out to Australia for the event.
Finally, on the stroke of 8am AEST, the doors were flung open.
It is done.
