You Can Now Cast Your Google+ Stream To Your Chromecast

Here’s one more thing you can add to all the awesome things you can do with a Chromecast: cast your Google+ stream directly from the app to your Chromecast-connected TV set to view posts, pictures and videos in full HD glory.

This only works if you’re on Android, for now, but you have to think that this is coming to iOS devices sooner or later.

You can flip through posts with manual controls on your smartphone screen or simply wait for the stream to auto-play. Android Police reports that the Google+ interface on the TV looks similar to the app, with beautiful, full-bleed images and posts highlighted right on top of the screen.

Google’s flagship apps — YouTube and Google Play Music — work beautifully with Chromecast, but arguably, they are natural fits for the big screen. Even if you don’t use Google+, the ability the cast it on a big screen has tremendous potential. What other apps on your phone, do you think, could use some Chromecast magic? [Android Police]
