LG’s 105-Inch 4K TV Costs A Breathtaking $125,000

LG’s TVs certainly don’t come cheap these days, but its new 105-inch ultrawidescreen, Ultra HD TV perhaps pushes the limits to the extreme: it costs an eye-watering $125,000.

Just released for sale in Korea, it’s priced at 120 million won. For that obscene quantity of money, you get a display that LG actually refers to as 5K because of its (really very, very impressive) 5120 x 2160 resolution. There also an integrated speaker which, presumably, is supposed to make it seem better value?

It doesn’t, of course. It costs $125,000. You could buy a fleet of cars with that, or an apartment, or even — if you insist on TVs — 16 of these still-rather-nice 80-inch LG 4K TVs. [LG via Engadget]
