For once, Australia won’t be completely left out of the Google I/O announcements! You’ll be able to get your hot little paws on the world’s first Android Wear smartwatch right now.
Google Australia has advised us that pre-orders will open some time this morning.

The LG G Watch is available right now. It’s $249 in Australia and will ship from 4 July. Thanks Michael!
It’s going to be cold comfort for Samsung fans, however. The new Gear Live is still listed as “coming soon” for Australia, despite the fact that it’s available for pre-order in the US today.
The rounded Moto 360 smartwatch will be available around September from what we’ve heard.
