Facebook appears to be offline, internationally. The social network isn’t working on web or mobile, and even its developer platform is down. Facebook is yet to offer an explanation on its own site or via Twitter.
Facebook is unavailable in the US and Europe, and parts of Asia appear to be missing the service too.
As mass panic set in around the globe, status trackers across the internet were straining under the weight of demand. Then it came back. No official word yet from Facebook on the cause.
