Watch LG’s G3 Get Officially Announced Tomorrow Morning

After a litany of leaks, the world’s worst-kept secret smartphone — LG’s new flagship G3 — is set to be officially unveiled at a launch in London early tomorrow morning.

We’re not sure there’s much unveiling left to happen after so many leaks, including a full list of specs and photos, but if you want to see LG itself officially introduce the G3, the company is letting the public in on its UK presser by way of YouTube.

Here’s all the biggest details in advance — the G3 packs a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixel) display, a rear 12MP camera with optical image stabilisation, a removable 3000mAh battery, an up-to-date Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and 2GB of RAM. These are pretty competitive specs for a high-end smartphone at this end of 2014, and LG’s revamped Android skin promises some useful features as well.

Check back here at 3:00AM Sydney time tomorrow morning to watch the livestream; if you feel like staying up late or setting an early alarm, the stream will be available from 2:00AM.

LG Electronics is delighted to announce the launch of our next ground-breaking smartphone.

The London launch event will be live streamed from 3am AEST on the 28th May (6pm BST on the 27th May) via the link below and we invite you to join us.

Of course, if you want to sleep in like a normal un-phone-obsessed human being, we’ll bring you all the nitty-gritty details about the LG G3 tomorrow morning. [YouTube]
