The Hijacked $50,000 @N Twitter Username Is Back In Its Owners Hands

Remember how Naoki Hiroshima lost his amazing $US50,000 @N Twitter username? Well, for once some good news: he got it back!

While the username was hijacked last month, Naoki Hiroshima has once again regained control of the account. Last night he tweeted:

Order has been restored.

— Naoki Hiroshima (@N) February 25, 2014

It’s not clear yet exactly how he regained full control of @N, though given his full description of what happened last month we should find out before long. The whole debacle, though, is a warning to us all to take online security seriously — especially when it comes to how online companies verify account information. [Twitter via The Next Web]
