Nokia just held its press conference at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. We were there to bring you all the action as it happened..

Mobile World Congress is the biggest smartphone show in the world, and we’re here to bring you all the latest news. Nokia kicks us off this evening at 6:30pm AEDT.

All times are in Australian Eastern Daylight Time.

5pm AEDT
We’re heading out to Fira Gran Via Barcelona right now to get into the Nokia presser!

What do you want to see from Nokia? A new Android phone? Better cameras? Bigger phablets? Let us know in the comments!

All the action is about to kick off!

Stephen Elop takes the stage!

“We’re here to talk about the next chapter in affordable phones…” says Elop.

Humble brag time: Elop’s bragging about the addition of new apps.

BBM, Photoshop Express and FoodPanda are coming to Nokia!

Nokia is also updating the camera SDK for developers today.

Moving onto Asha devices now. Nokia released a bunch of them last year at MWC. Now there are 1 million Nokia 105 phones being sold every week.

New product time! It’s the new Nokia 220 for the emerging market. Called the most affordable internet ready mobile phone. It only costs €29.

Now talking about a new Asha software update.

New family of affordable smartphones coming. Android time? Sure is!

There’s the new Nokia X and Nokia X+ with more memory, storage and SD card. Both have 4-inch screens.

These phones both run Android services with Microsoft’s apps. They’re built on the Android AOSP, combined with Microsoft services.

You connect to Microsoft’s cloud rather than Gogle’s servers. I doubt Google will be pleased…

What do you think?

Devs on Android will now be able to port their apps “within hours” says Elop.

We’re now watching a demo of the Nokia X+.

Wait, there’s more: the Nokia XL is here!

5-inch display, 5mp camera with flash and AF. Also has a 2mp front-camera.

Demo time again…

Hey, look. HERE Maps are on Android…

10GB of free OneDrive storage and a free month of Skype global come free on these new Nokia devices.

Here comes the pricing.

Nokia X is available from today for €89, the X+ is €99 and comes in Q2, while the Nokia XL is €109 and also comes in Q2. These devices will be available “widely”, starting in “growth markets”.

And that’s mostly a wrap! We’ll bring you full news and specs on the new Nokia devices shortly. Thanks for joining us!
