LG G2 Pro With 4K, Better Image Stabiliser Coming At MWC

Cameras seem to be the new battleground for smartphones these days, and LG is ready to fire off its next salvo at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona later on this month. The LG G2 Pro is ready for launch at the show, and will include the ability to record 4K video and pack in advanced image stabilisation hardware.

LG announced the G2 on its own social site to build hype for the new handset, and promised a swathe of new camera tech.

“OIS Plus” will debut on the G2 Pro, which promises to go above and beyond the image stabilisation technology offered on today’s smartphones (read: Lumia handsets). LG also promises better low-light performance, too.

The G2 Pro will also have a revamped camera UX according to LG, and the ability to capture images in 3840×2160, also known as 4K.

That 4K camera will have a 20-shot burst mode capable of capturing a “slow-motion” effect.

We look forward to going hands-on with the phone at MWC this year.
