HTC One’s BoomSound is pretty great. We already know that. It’s two speakers on the front of your phone with some clever science attached to make sure they sound great at all times. So it makes total sense for us to watch an infomercial about it before being teased that the “All-New HTC One” is on the way, right? Right?
Basically this whole ad is a failed attempt to garner a laugh that smart people design phones and dumber people use them, before showing you a pixellated version of what might be the next HTC One.
What this commercial does serve to do — besides be pretty annoying — is confirm that the One is on the way at the March press conference. Hurrah!
