It might not look it, but these images actually make up a font designed especially to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Mac.

Spotted on this 30 Years of Mactribute page by iOS developer Greg Barbosa, the font is built up of line drawings of Apple’s computers over the ages. It uses special private characters so that, once installed, you can’t actually type normally with it. But the line drawings can each be copied and pasted from the OS X Font Book app if you’re looking to insert them into documents.

It’s not been officially released by Apple, but Barbosa has pointed to a download here if you’re interested in giving it a try. [Mac Anniversary Font via Twitter]
