Skydiving looks like terrifyingly good fun, provided all goes well. But when you’re falling out of a plane several thousand feet in the air, the last thing you want to do is pass out after being brained by another diver. That’s unfortunately what happened to this guy, and the footage from his GoPro reveals how he was saved by other members of his skydiving party.
The guy in question was knocked unconscious at about 12,500 feet up in the air after colliding with another skydiver. Thankfully, his GoPro was running while he wasn’t.
He began falling through the air in an uncontrolled descent. He was spiralling for just a few seconds when his skydiving compatriots noticed something might be wrong and went over to check on him.
Once they realised he was unresponsive, they held him the right way up and deployed his parachute for him.
It wasn’t until he was a few hundred feet off the ground before he woke up with absolutely no memory of the incident.
Thankfully, the story had a happy — if slightly groggy — ending.
