China’s Winter Wonderland Is Filled With Incredible Ice Sculptures

Thought your Christmas was awesome? Had fun with a little bit of snow? Maybe you made a snowman earlier in the week? Whatever. That’s nothing compared to this magical winter wonderland in China where they have ginormous ice sculptures of horses and women and mammoths and castles and T-Rexes. They’re incredible.

The magnificent sculptures are all part of China’s Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival. BuzzFeed and Getty Images have a collection of images by photographer Hong Wu showing the sculptures and boy are they massive.

If you’re wondering how the sculptures (more like structures, am i right?) stay like that, temperature in Harbin, China averages around 2 degrees Fahrenheit (-16.8 degrees Celsius). Yeah, that’s not fun. But hey, at least the sculptures look fantastic.
