Seizing on the success of Apple and the, err, attempts of Samsung and Microsoft, Intel is jumping on the physical store bandwagon: It’s opening a number of pop-up stores this month.

The first will open on November 23 in New York City’s NoLita area, though it remains unclear where the rest will be. Oooh, the anticipation and surprise of pop-ups. How edgy.

Open for the Christmas holidays, the video above suggests that Intel will woo customers into the store with free coffee and movie screenings. Which, I guess, is what you need to do if your products aren’t enough to encourage people in from the street by themselves? [Laptop]
