New HP Chromebooks Should Be In Australia By Christmas

The latest Chromebook on the block is HP’s Chromebook 11, which sports an 11.6-inch screen, comes in five colour combos and weighs 1.04 kilograms. While the new device isn’t available in Australia immediately, we should see it by Christmas.

The Chromebook 11 is currently only on sale in the US and UK, but Google’s announcement post says it will be “available in other countries that sell Chromebooks in time for the holidays”. Australia joined those ranks somewhat belatedly back in March, so that should mean another Chromebook choice by December. The US price is $US279, which is likely to translate to an Australian retail price of around $330.
