9 Winning Super Structures From The World Architecture Festival

The annual World Architecture Festival is about more than just awards: attendees can check out a pretty packed line-up of talks and crits, browse galleries and installations, and hob-nob with fellow folks from the biz from students to bold-named stars.

But for those of us who didn’t make it to Singapore’s ultra-luxe Marina Bay Sands Resort for this year’s three day built environment bacchanal (I’m picturing an infinity pool overrun with architects…), it’s still possible to experience a bit of the action, as the winners of the competition have just been announced. Between the three major categories — Completed Buildings, Landscape Projects and Future Projects — there’s a lot of eye candy to ogle at, with globe-spanning entries in a pretty remarkably wide-range of styles.

Check out our faves below, then head over to Archinect to ooh and ahh at all the winners. And if you’ve got a super structure of your own you’d like to see in the spotlight, there’s still time to submit to the Architizer A+ Awards. [Archinect, Bustler]
