For now, the 4K-curious have to make due with a free membership that includes stills and 4-minute teasers. Which, Tsai assures, are “beautifully edited”.

Right now, all these free clips are being released in H264 form; once HVEC hits, though, those files will finally start whittling down closer to HD-sized territory. As 4k cameras become cheaper, I think the porn industry will definitely crossover and 4k will become the norm sooner than most people think. Case example, the new Galaxy Note can shoot 4k!
