iPhone 5s: Optus Pricing

We spent a few days twiddling our thumbs waiting for Optus to price up the new iPhones, but finally they have arrived. Here's what you'll pay for an iPhone 5s on the Optus network.

You can get the iPhone 5s on an Optus contract starting on the $35 MyPlan for an additional $27 per month for the 16GB iPhone 5s. That $27 is after the $5 handset credit included on the $35 MyPlan offering. That plan also includes 200 minutes of calls, 200MB of data and unlimited standard SMS and MMS.

So the cheapest you'll be able to nab an iPhone 5s for on Optus will be $62 per month. Now for the other offerings:

For the 16GB iPhone 5s on the $50 MyPlan (450 minutes of calls, unlimited SMS, MMS and 500MB of data), the 16GB 5s costs an extra $19 per month (after a $10 handset credit included on the MyPlan), while the 32GB costs $24. The 64GB version costs $30 extra.

On the $60 MyPlan (600 minutes of calls, unlimited SMS, MMS and 1GB of data), the 16GB 5s costs an extra $14 per month (after a $10 handset credit included on the MyPlan), while the 32GB costs $19. The 64GB version costs $26 extra.

On the $80 MyPlan (800 minutes of calls, unlimited SMS, MMS and 2GB of data), the 16GB 5s costs an extra $5 per month (after a $20 handset credit included on the MyPlan), while the 32GB costs $9. The 64GB version costs $9z extra.

On the $100 MyPlan (unlimited minutes of calls, unlimited SMS, MMS and 3GB of data), the 16GB 5s costs an extra $0 per month (after a $20 handset credit included on the MyPlan), while the 32GB costs $6. The 64GB version costs $12 extra.

All of these plans are on 24 month contracts.
