Apparently, to commemorate the wrapping of The Avengers, Robert Downey Jr’s staff pitched in and got the Hollywood star a little something. Well, it’s not exactly little, but it certainly is something. And it flies.
It is, in fact, a flying RC Iron Man built by master model plane maker and proprietor of RC Superhero, Greg Tanous. The model stands 180cm tall, replete with glowing eyes, chest piece, hands and feet. Details on the custom-built aircraft’s specs and capabilities are sketchy, although it does look uncannily like the 19-inch models that are available on Amazon.
Unfortunately, RDJ’s is an amazing one-off, so you have roughly zero chance of buying one for yourself unless you go all Tony Stark and build it yourself. [UAS Vision]
