Google's hit a major milestone in its quest to put an Android device into the hands of everybody.
Google's Sundar Pinchal announced earlier this morning — via Google+, naturally — that the next version of Android will be called KitKat, but alongside that, he also dropped the news that there have been more than one billion Android activations to date.
To give that some context, the world population sits just over 7 billion or so according to most estimates. Quickly, find six other people. Between you, there's technically an Android activation, no matter where you find the six people.
