Watch These Graffiti Masters Turn A Boeing 737 Into Airborne Art

Any Boeing 737 is a marvel of industrial achievement, but this one in particular is also a work of art. UK creative group HangFire recently completely transformed one of the giant flying machines with some amazing graffiti.

The plane was painted up by two prominent street artists called Sat One and Roids. Apparently the project was pretty challenging because they were painting on a curved surface, and it takes a bit of finagling to manoeuvre around a massive 737.

On top of that, the team was battling rainy weather, and the plane was leaking hydraulic fluid. Yikes. The conditions weren’t ideal, but the result is pretty impressive, as you can see in the short film by designer Gavin Strange.

If only commercial carriers looked this cool. Are you listening, American? [HangFire via DesignTaxi]
