There Are Free Downloads In The Apple Store App Now

If you don’t pay regular visits to the Apple Store iOS app, maybe it’s time to start. In an effort to get you to fire the app up and possibly buy other stuff, Apple has started giving away free apps, songs and ebooks from the app. Free is cool.

9to5Mac reports that Apple has started giving away the Colour Zen in the Apple Store app for free — ordinarily the puzzle game costs $1. There will be a new offering each week. (NOT THE APP STORE SILLYPANTS, THE APPLE STORE APP.)

We’re not sure that a free download here and there is enough to keep us checking back for updates, but hopefully word about what’s free on any given day will spread the way other dealz do. [9to5Mac]
