Playstation Vita, PS3 Getting An Australian Price Drop

Sony announced at Gamescom overnight that the PlayStation Vita will be getting a price drop internationally. The good news is that the cut will also be passed on in Australia, too!

The PS Vita 3G+Wi-Fi model will now cost $269.95 locally, down from its previous price of $349.

No word yet on the pricing of the Wi-Fi only model, however.

That still makes it only slightly more expensive in Australia than it is in the US, with our Ameri-friends paying $US199 for the device these days.

Sony’s 12GB PlayStation 3 has also been cut down in price, now costing the same price as the Vita: $269.95. [Kotaku]
