Garmin’s VIRB Gets Aussie Pricing

A verb, as you probably know, is a “doing” word. A VIRB, on the other hand, is Garmin’s rather silly name for its particular take on Action Cameras.

Garmin’s announced the local pricing for its two VIRB cameras; the entry level VIRB will cost $349 VIRB while the slightly higher specification VIRB ELITE will run to $499. That’s certainly not aggressively priced against the competition, but it is at least broadly equitable with the US $300 and $400 price points given the recent status of the Aussie dollar.

Both VIRB cameras will go on sale locally in October.
