EzyFlix Adds Fast-Tracked Breaking Bad

EzyFlix launched its video-on-demand streaming services in Australia recently with a focus mainly on movies, but also a smattering of TV offers. It’s just announced that the final episodes of Breaking Bad will be made available to buy within 24 hours of US broadcast.

Will that be enough to stem the piracy tide? Probably not, but it’s a welcome start of business; when the company launched, it was stuck with Breaking Bad episodes that were first broadcast in 2012.

“Within 24 hours” gives it a little bit of wriggle room; at a guess it’ll be allowed to offer episodes at exactly the same second as Apple’s iTunes currently does.
