You Can Apply To Use Google’s Street View Backpack Now

If you’ve always fancied mapping out an obscure part of the globe, it could be your lucky day: you can now apply to use Google’s Street View backpack.

Now, if you’re a “tourism board, non-profit, university, research organisation or other third party” who has access to a hard-to-reach place, Google are willing to give you the chance to use it yourself.

In fact, you can apply online here to use Trekker. And you should. [Google]
